Job Description:

The One Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Design Engineer - Mechanical Automation to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanical design engineer to work on exciting projects and develop their skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom automation and machinery solutions from concept to delivery. You will work closely with a collaborative multi-disciplinary team to meet project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom automation and machinery solutions using 2D & 3D CAD & SolidWorks.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop creative solutions to complex problems and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in 2D & 3D CAD & SolidWorks design with a focus on automation or special-purpose machinery.
  • Experience in robotics, motion control, sensors, and machine dynamics is highly desirable.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary ranging between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays and company pension.
