Job Summary:As the Deputy Floor Manager, you will assist the Floor Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining high standards of service quality. Your role will be crucial in supporting the team, handling stock control, assisting with financial budgeting, and ensuring product quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in managing daily floor operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Train and supervise staff, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
- Work closely with the kitchen to maintain and enforce product quality standards.
- Oversee stock control processes, ensuring that stock levels for items like milk and takeaway cups are maintained and orders are placed promptly.
- Assist with budgeting, managing expenses, and understanding cash flow to ensure the financial health of the store.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the store, following safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and ensuring sufficient staff coverage during operating hours.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the retail or hospitality sector.
- Experience in stock control, financial budgeting, and maintaining quality standards.
- A strong understanding of hygiene and compliance standards in food service.
