Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Paint Pots Nurseries and Pre-schools. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pre-school, providing a safe and stimulating environment for children, and working closely with our Manager and staff to deliver high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assume responsibility for the daily operation of the pre-school in the absence of the Manager.
  2. Develop and maintain partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
  3. Work closely with the Manager, staff, and outside agencies to ensure the continuing development and high standards of care and education in the setting.
  4. Be responsible for the maintenance of records and the assessment and recording of development, progress, and attainment for every child.
  5. Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the setting, alongside the Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
  2. Excellent communication skills.
  3. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
