Job Title: Deputy Manager

Major Ashford Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our children's home, providing support to the Manager and contributing to the care and well-being of our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments for our young people.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies.
  • Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, adhering to our cleaning rota system and encouraging young people to participate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, with supervision and guidance from the Manager.
  • Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person, assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Programs.
  • Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people, maximizing opportunities for their development.
  • Provide support to the Manager and perform senior duties as directed.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (desirable).
  • Experience in a children's home setting (essential).
  • Passion for helping young people thrive.
  • Ability to work shift patterns, including sleep ins, with a rota plan provided in advance.
  • Full, UK driving licence (essential).
