Harrison Scott Associates is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to join our client's team in the North West of England. As the site's HSE expert, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing safety standards, while driving environmental sustainability and compliance with ISO systems.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of HSE Management Systems, ensuring seamless integration with Global Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Systems, and Security Initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HSE performance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing routines, incorporating external expertise to drive business growth.
  • Deliver training programs, utilizing strong presentation and communication skills to engage stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge of UK legislative requirements for Health & Safety and Environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience in designing and delivering training sessions.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar HSE role within manufacturing, preferably with chemical experience.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing role requirements, including occasional travel and varied working hours.
