Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Support and mentor junior nurses to develop their skills and confidence
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Mentor or supervision qualification
  • Experience of delivering excellent care to residents with dementia and producing care plans and detailed risk assessments
  • Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
