Business Development Executive

At FCC Environment, we are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to spearhead growth within the waste and recycling sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, business development, or customer service sales, with a strong understanding of the waste management industry and a passion for driving sustainable solutions.
The role is office based, covering enquiries from across the UK, although some business travel may be required. You will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in target organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customise waste management solutions that meet the unique needs and challenges of prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and optimise sales efforts.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably within the waste management or environmental services industry.
- A strong understanding of waste management practices, recycling technologies, and sustainability initiatives.
- A full, valid driving licence.
