Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our interdisciplinary team at The Disabilities Trust. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries and mental health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify strengths and development needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals, families, and carers to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge in neurological care and rehabilitation.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register with a Foundation Degree Knowledge.
  • Understanding and application of NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team and insight into evaluating strengths and development needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and carers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care and support.
