Role Overview
As an Internal Controls Assurance Director, you will lead complex engagements, including US SOX and Service Auditor reporting. You will ensure high-quality delivery within set timelines and budgets while managing teams, developing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our internal controls client base.
Responsibilities- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across RSM and our clients.
- Manage internal controls assignments from planning to reporting, ensuring strict compliance with established standards.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of key risks and controls, prepare comprehensive planning documents, and oversee the execution of engagements.
- Lead and mentor staff, providing training and fostering team development.
- Actively participate in market activities, proposals, and client portfolio expansion initiatives.
- Possess extensive expertise in internal controls standards, with proven experience in SOX implementation and delivering assurance reporting engagements.
- Review and ensure compliance with industry standards, provide technical guidance, and identify training needs within the team.
- Communicate effectively with clients, produce clear and concise reports, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
- Build strong client relationships, share your expertise, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Take ownership of your responsibilities, demonstrate enthusiasm, provide support to team members, and strive for continuous improvement.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to self-development and delivering exceptional service.
Hold a relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, IIA, or CIMA.
