Internal Controls Assurance Director

RSM is seeking an experienced Internal Controls Assurance Director to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Governance service line, you will be responsible for leading and undertaking complex internal controls engagements, including SOX, ICoFR, and Service Auditor reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and deliver controls documentation and testing at client sites, in accordance with RSM methodologies and relevant standards.
- Lead and supervise more junior staff on individual assignments, including staff motivation, discipline, and technical audit guidance.
- Provide job training and guidance for auditors and training for more junior auditors.
- Assess the performance of team members and provide feedback.
- Participate in RSM's appraisal and development process.
- Good technical knowledge of internal controls standards, documentation, and testing.
- Previous experience of SOX implementation and delivering readiness and type 1 controls assurance reporting engagements.
- Experience working with large global organizations.
- Ability to review and control technical content of work of others to ensure compliance with relevant standards and quality requirements.
