About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Connect Health Group Limited as a Senior Psychological Therapist within our interdisciplinary pain team. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to individuals, groups, and via ehealth. You may also have the opportunity to supervise other members of the team.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Psychological Therapist, you will use your knowledge, experience, and skills to provide advice and consultation on psychological aspects of pain management to other health professionals and to advance students and colleagues' knowledge and practice of psychological theories and principles. You will proactively develop and promote a positive and dynamic image and culture and will be key in fostering productive relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Registration with BABCP as a CBT Therapist
  • Experience of working within a physical health setting delivering individual and group interventions
  • Good knowledge of the current evidence base in relation to psychological approaches to pain management
