Senior CBT Therapist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our interdisciplinary pain team as a Senior CBT Therapist. As a key member of the team, you will provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to individuals, groups, and via ehealth. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support patients with complex needs.
Main Responsibilities
As a Senior CBT Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological interventions to patients under the care of the pain service. Your primary goal will be to facilitate acceptance of/adjustment to their condition, promote psychological flexibility, and improve health-related quality of life. You will also be expected to provide advice and consultation on psychological aspects of pain management to other health professionals and advance students and colleagues' knowledge and practice of psychological theories and principles.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Senior CBT Therapist with the following qualifications and experience:
- Postgraduate Diploma in CBT and registration and accreditation with BABCP
- Experience of psychological/psychotherapeutic assessment and treatment of clients across a range of care settings, including outpatient, community, and primary care
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, with presenting problems that reflect a range of clinical severity
- Experience of working within a physical health setting, providing individual and group interventions
