High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Trainee High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our team. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with a high volume caseload of service users, while also undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (PGDip CBT) at a university.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month training contract, during which you will work closely with our experienced clinicians and receive regular supervision and support. You will be based at Severn Fields Health Village in Shrewsbury, but will be required to travel within the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin locality.
Key Responsibilities- Work with a high volume caseload of service users, providing high-intensity interventions
- Undertake a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (PGDip CBT) at a university
- Participate in regular clinical and management supervision
- Contribute to data collection, data management, analysis, and note-keeping
We are looking for a candidate with a strong academic background and relevant experience in mental health services. You should have a recorded/registered/accredited qualification in one of the following: Nursing, Social Work, Art Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Psychotherapeutic Counselling, or a Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
You should also have the ability to work within a team, foster good working relationships, and use clinical supervision and personal development positively and effectively.
