Job Description

Job Title: Programmatic Account Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programmatic Account Director to join our team at Assembly. As a Programmatic Account Director, you will be responsible for leading our programmatic efforts and driving growth across our client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Act as the senior point of contact for programmatic across a portfolio of clients, assuming ultimate responsibility for all implemented programs and managing escalations.
  • Team Management: Line management of programmatic traders, as well as mentoring and support of the wider display team in programmatic campaign planning.
  • Strategic Expertise: Act as the strategic expert in programmatic, working with ADs, AMs, and Planners to define frameworks that hit our client's KPIs and business objectives.
  • Campaign Delivery: Overseeing all elements of the delivery, optimisation and reporting of programmatic campaigns.
  • Pitch Development: Working with the Head of Display, and our Sales Team to develop and deliver pitches, with a view to grow global programmatic services.
  • Cross-Selling: Cross-selling display to Assembly's existing client base by working with Business Directors to proactively identify opportunities.
  • Industry Expertise: Act as an internal expert on emerging trends, technologies and opportunities in the area of programmatic. Nurturing publisher and Ad tech partner relationships.
  • Innovation: Work with the Head of Display, Ad Tech team, Data Scientists and Assembly Developers to develop innovative programmatic solutions and new products.

Requirements:

  • Senior Client Handling: Senior client handling and relationship management experience essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed for internal client and publisher relationship management.
  • Programmatic Knowledge: Wide knowledge and understanding of the programmatic landscape.
  • Trading and Planning: Programmatic trading & planning experience.
  • Digital Marketing: Additional experience of running or managing digital marketing activity across other channels (e.g. PPC, SEO, etc) beneficial.
  • Delivering Results: Demonstrable experience of delivering best-in-class digital campaigns; e.g. through winning industry awards.
  • International Experience: Management of activity across international markets preferential but not required.
