Job Role: Maintenance Engineer

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Loughborough, Leicestershire. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of commercial printing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on commercial printing machinery
  2. Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on site machinery
  3. Following health and safety policies and procedures
  4. Collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure efficient production
  5. Participating in 6S Lean Manufacturing initiatives within the engineering department
  6. Attending regular maintenance meetings to review current PPMs and breakdowns
  7. Ensuring plant layout changes and installations are completed on time
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a maintenance engineer
  2. Multiskilled engineer with a mechanical or electrical bias
  3. Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic fault finding capabilities
  4. Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition)
  5. PLC knowledge and ability to modify
  6. In-depth understanding of fault finding and diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
