Warehouse Coordinator Role at Badiani Gelato London

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at Badiani Gelato London. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of our warehouse, including stock management, outbound/inbound shipping, and returns.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily stock count of all goods in the Lab warehouse.
  • Daily check, management, and reorder of cold rooms.
  • Weekly stock count of goods in the Main warehouse in Kent, deciding what goods need to be brought back to central London.
  • Communicating with Last-mile delivery operation teams and the Operation Team.
  • Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations.
  • Receiving goods, checking their condition, counting them, and placing them in the right place.
  • Daily preparation of dry stock for delivery the following evening.
  • Performing general maintenance of furniture and equipment in the Lab warehouse.
  • Managing and updating Nory and FaccioBuono, ensuring correct stock movements to/from the main warehouse and shops.
  • Learning and training new logistics systems, ensuring they are up to date and monitoring performances correctly.
  • Supporting the delivery team in emergencies or to move gelato, goods, and provide delivery services.
  • Planning and managing driver rotation for deliveries to all shops.
  • Enforcing health standards, safety, and security procedures.
  • Enforcing company rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Italian speaker to effectively communicate with team members and possibly with suppliers or partners in Italy.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate stock counts and ensure goods are in the right location, especially in high-volume periods.
  • Ability to enforce company rules and maintain standards across all aspects of the warehouse environment.
  • Some experience in a warehouse environment.
