Children's Home Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager to join our team at Siamo Recruitment, a division of Siamo Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of an EBD Home for up to 3 young people aged between 8 and 16 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management in implementing all young people's placements, including their development, monitoring, and review.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the home in line with the Care Standards Act.
  • Provide support to young people with life skills and education.
  • Protect the young people from risks to their health, welfare, and development inside and outside of the home.
  • Be aware of safeguarding at all times.
  • Participate in the on-call rota when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 in Children & Young People.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience within a children's residential home sector.
  • Minimum of 2 years' children's home senior experience.
  • Experience of working with complex and emotional behavioural needs in young people.
  • Understanding of the current Ofsted inspection framework.
  • Knowledge of current governing legislation and procedures for caring for children.
