Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Payroll Officer (Hybrid) will be responsible for managing the payroll process, including processing payroll, managing employee benefits, and administering HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous payroll experience and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process for 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with external payroll providers.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for payroll and HR-related tasks.
  • Administer new starter and leaver processes, contractual changes, maternity and paternity leave, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Ensure accuracy of all employee records and benefit plan documents.
  • Manage employee benefits processes, including purchase order and invoicing processes.
  • Produce insightful payroll and HR analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Assist the Total Rewards Manager and HR Director in developing the global compensation and benefits agenda.
  • Support the HR Director and HR Business Partners in producing HR metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, best practices, and work with the Total Rewards Manager to plan, develop, and implement benefit plans and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Support the Total Rewards Manager in sourcing and managing vendors and benefits brokers.
  • Work with finance colleagues to ensure accurate financial postings and budget reports.

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of previous payroll experience (ideally in-house payroll from a large business).
  • Intermediate Excel skills (V lookups, pivot tables).
  • ADP GlobalView experience (not essential).
  • SAP experience (not essential).
  • Basic benefits/reward/HR experience (not essential).

  • Base salary of £35-38,000.
