JHE & Partners Ltd is a well-established business with over 40 years of industry experience. We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit checks on new customers to assess their creditworthiness
  • Chase overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and letters to ensure timely payments
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity to track progress
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers to resolve outstanding debts
  • Handle customer queries regarding outstanding invoices in a professional and courteous manner
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure accuracy
  • Analyse financial data to identify potential credit risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve payment issues and improve cash flow

Requirements:

  • Experience in credit control or a similar financial role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and data entry
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial services and telemarketing techniques
