We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Highways Division in CV Library.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for progressing the construction process and assisting in delivering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with site management to complete quality take offs
  2. Develop awareness of potential commercial opportunities/issues with the project
  3. Develop knowledge and ability in completing hazard/risk assessments and method statements, including alerting relevant personnel to control measures and work methods therein
  4. Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification
  5. Train, manage and mentor junior engineers
  6. Manage sectional setting out requirements on site
  7. Manage the sectional service plans/drawings
  8. Assist the QS/Project Manager with providing the relevant information for records and claims purposes
  9. Manage the as-built requirements of your section and contribute to the completion of the site health and safety file
  10. Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the company procedures

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a Senior Engineer or Section Engineer for a main contractor
  2. Experience in the civils sector working with NEC forms of contract
  3. Computer literate including the use of CAD
  4. CSCS
  5. Hold a relevant qualification BSc/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering
  6. A minimum of 4 years of setting out experience working on infrastructure projects including Highways, Rail, and Commercial Buildings, with a good understanding of ITPs and quality assurance
  7. Full UK Driving License
  8. First Aid (desirable)
  9. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
