Role Overview:

We're seeking a skilled Operations and Sport Events Manager to join our team. As a key member, you'll support the Head of Operations and Events in planning and executing events, including our exclusive Pegasus Lounge.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Stock Control and Configurations: Oversee stock control, configurations, and bookings for ad hoc events, collaborating with venue account managers.
  • Event Management: Manage all aspects of assigned events, including design, talent coordination, and venue liaison.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise the Operations & Events team, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and fostering career development.
  • Process Improvement: Assist the Head of Operations & Events in implementing new processes to enhance operational and customer experience.
  • Pegasus Lounge Focus: Secure necessary resources for the growth of the Pegasus Lounge events.
  • Business Growth Opportunities: Identify potential business growth opportunities in collaboration with the Head of Operations & Events.
  • Post-Event Feedback: Implement post-event feedback processes and collaborate on event improvement strategies.
  • Sales Team Support: Organize presentations to sales teams for pre/post event debriefs and product knowledge workshops.
  • Intra-Departmental Communication: Maintain effective communication between departments by liaising with Heads of Sales, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Table Plans and CRM: Manage table plans configurations and collaborate with Operations & Event Coordinators. Utilize client feedback to drive improvements and action necessary changes with venues.
  • CRM Practices Review: Continuously review CRM practices and assist Sales Support with reporting.

About You:

  • You have experience in managing a team.
  • You possess demonstrable business and financial acumen with a strong understanding of budgetary planning, forecasting, and stock control.
  • You have strong project management skills and expertise in scoping and delivering events successfully and on time and on budget.
  • You are extremely agile with the ability to adapt to and navigate unpredictable situations while juggling multiple events or projects simultaneously.
  • You have a strong understanding and use of Microsoft Office.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • You have experience in the events industry.
  • You have knowledge of sports.
  • You are familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
