About the Role

Care UK is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our bank team. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that residents receive the best possible care
  • Case manage residents and liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Administer and record medication, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them
  • Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and improve services, ensuring that they meet the needs of residents and stakeholders

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a strong focus on teamwork and communication
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of care planning processes and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Experience in administering medication or a willingness to undertake training
