About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Executive to join our CRM and data team at the British Heart Foundation. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring effective data management, extracting data for marketing communications, and collaborating with marketing and technical teams to optimise data quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective data management for the BHF by extracting data for marketing communications, supporting data imports, and collaborating with marketing and technical teams.
  • Responsible for marketing data extracts, maintaining data quality through CRM updates using an ETL tool, and championing data best practices while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with fundraising and marketing teams to establish selection criteria for data extracts, ensuring accurate and timely data exchange with suppliers.
  • Manage CRM database data, resolve data quality issues, and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Support and train members to maintain and enhance the CRM database, track team workload, and develop efficient data management processes.
About You

We're looking for a candidate with proven previous experience running complex and large database selections in a busy direct marketing environment. You'll have experience ensuring complex and high-volume data quality and accuracy, with strong experience with Blackbaud CRM or similar systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a proven track record in importing and exporting data with external agencies are essential. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver workloads to strict deadlines are also required.
