Chief Engineer for Engine Systems

Beehive Industries, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineer for Engine Systems to join our Product Engineering team. This role will be located at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creation of engineering processes to execute new engine designs, including design review objectives and structure, design best practices, analysis and design standards, and instrumentation/assembly procedures.
  • Lead and/or support initiatives to progress technology through various readiness levels and proactively manage risk.
  • Lead root cause/corrective action initiatives related to technical learnings, capturing lessons learned and implementing long-term changes.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to engineering teams with respect to systems engineering principles, tools, and techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Mentor engineers and support the creation of technical career development paths for various engineering functions.
  • Review and approve engineering documents and drawings, assuring proper documentation of technical data and information.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing to resolve technical and quality challenges.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or STEM-related discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • At least 18 years of experience in gas turbine design, analysis, test, and/or development.
  • At least 8 years of experience working in technical leadership roles related to systems engineering.
  • Experience with Cameo or other Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools.
