Electrical Systems Design Engineer

Are you passionate about delivering technical designs that drive sustainable change? Do you want to apply your engineering expertise to critical systems projects?

As an Electrical Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical designs for infrastructure support projects, including electrical and mechanical designs for road and rail tunnels, moving bridges, power generation, and district heating facilities.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Electrical technical design, reviews, and checking
  • Management of a team of building services engineering staff
  • Assisting in maintaining the orderbook and workflow

About you

  • You should have a Masters degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering, or equivalent
  • You should be Chartered (or en route to) with a recognised professional institution
  • You should have experience in electrical engineering design, with knowledge of proprietary software (ETAP or Trimble)
  • Be aware of site installation practice and buildability
  • Have good communication skills in written and spoken English
