Aspens Services Ltd is a leading contract catering company specializing in school food. We combine our understanding of the education sector with our knowledge of food trends to encourage creativity and excitement in our kitchens.

We provide excellent care and services to clients and children, ensuring the successful growth of the company. To keep up with this growth, we are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the team in basic food preparation and provide excellent service to students and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working on the tills during service, with full training provided
  • Cleaning duties within the kitchen
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance is met
  • Providing a friendly and polite customer service for all
About You

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. You will need:

  • Previous catering experience
  • Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Food Hygiene level 2 (preferred, but training will be given)
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices

  • 38 weeks per year, based around term time
