About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Bramfield CE Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our Key Stage Two pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support to pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Assist teachers in the planning and preparation of lessons, resources, and activities
  • Contribute to a calm and purposeful learning environment by using behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver English and mathematics interventions
  • Support the wider school community through our extended schools club offer
  • Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Good standard of English and mathematics (GCSE level 4 or above)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies and procedures
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and its pupils
