About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your team's skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading the store team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective store operations to maximize sales and minimize costs.
  • Coach and develop your team to achieve their full potential and improve store performance.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, stock management, and customer service standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, customer service, and sales techniques.
