Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team, focusing on Pressure Systems. As a key member of our project team, you'll provide engineering support, quality management, and control services to our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering daily quality management activities as directed by the Client's Quality Director.
  • Conducting design reviews for pressure systems and ensuring quality records meet regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Participating in creating and reviewing Programme Quality Delivery Arrangements and MIT plans.
  • Overseeing and accepting Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans from the supply chain.
  • Establishing controls for design or manufacturing Quality Records from sub-contractors.
  • Leading the resolution of non-conformances and applying project-wide preventative actions.
  • Supporting Quality Auditors in resolving audit findings promptly.
  • Investigating quality issues.
  • Providing regular quality reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in large project environments, preferably in the nuclear, oil & gas (or heavily regulated) sector, with significant focus on Product/project quality roles.
  • Hands-on experience carrying out design reviews.
  • Working knowledge of UK pressure compliance standards, including PSSR, PE(S)R, PED, and D5500.
