Job Title: Adults Social Worker Safeguarding and Quality

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum.

About the Role:

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their team in South Gloucestershire. As a Localities Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing safeguarding services to vulnerable adults.

The successful candidate will have post-qualifying experience of working as an Integrated Pathways Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry. You will be required to hold HCPC registration, with 1-2 years' post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry.

You will be working closely with people at risk, and those who have caused harm, attending multidisciplinary meetings, and completing referrals to relevant agencies for support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with other professionals to ensure effective safeguarding services are provided
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation to inform your practice
  • Holding complex cases requiring sensitive and professional handling
  • Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
  • Providing advice to the public, partner agencies, and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
  • Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
  • Working with individuals at risk, and those who have caused harm
  • Attending multidisciplinary meetings to discuss case plans and progress
  • Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support
Requirements:
  • Post-qualifying experience of working as an Integrated Pathways Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry
  • HCPC Registration
  • 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
