Personal Assistant

We are seeking two part-time Personal Assistants to join our team of carers to support a lady in her early 60s with Cerebral Palsy. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing personal care and support to enable her to live independently.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with transfers using ceiling track hoist
- Provide personal care tasks such as washing and drying lower areas of the body
- Assist with toileting and pad changes
- Prepare and provide meals and drinks in line with the employer's dietary requirements
- Monitor skin integrity and nutritional intake
- Dispense medication and assist with taking it independently
- Experience of working within the care sector and using hoists
- Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL)
- Good communication and timekeeping skills
- Flexibility with hours and willingness to undertake essential training
- Enhanced DBS check required
