Job Title: Personal Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Assistant to join our team at Ideal for All. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide day-to-day support to our client, assisting with general care, personal care, and engaging in art therapy activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to our client, including assistance with personal care, hoisting, and repositioning.
  • Engage in art therapy activities with our client, promoting their well-being and creativity.
  • Assist with light cleaning and domestic duties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Accompany our client to appointments and social events, providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Drive our client to appointments and social events, as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with brain injuries or similar conditions.
  • Ability to provide personal care, including hoisting and repositioning.
  • Flexibility and patience when working with our client.
  • Ability to drive and maintain a valid driving license.

Working Hours:

21 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 42 hours per week.

Qualifications:

Care of people living with the effects of a brain injury is highly desirable.
