Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Bristol Adult Acute Pain Management Service.
About the Role- Manage a caseload of patients, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care needs in a manner that maintains and promotes quality and patient safety.
- Provide specialist advice and support to patients, relatives/carers, nursing and medical staff on acute pain and complex symptoms in an acute hospital setting.
- Ensure safety and efficacy of pain management techniques through regular patient contact and direct clinical care.
- Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning.
- Work cohesively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to provide effective liaison and ensure the best possible services for patients.
- Degree-qualified nurse with significant post-registration experience in an acute setting.
- Independent non-medical prescribing qualification or commitment to work towards completion.
- Commitment to professional development and ongoing education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
