Health and Safety Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team at Biffa Waste Services Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with operational teams to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies and initiatives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate health and safety risks, and to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety matters, including hazard recognition, risk assessment, and control measures.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and regulations, and ensure that our organization is compliant with all relevant requirements.
- A recognized NEBOSH qualification and professional status.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a demonstrably similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
