Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Fostering Specialist to join our team. This role will involve working closely with foster carers to provide safe, stable, and supportive homes for children and young people who have experienced attachment disruption, abuse, neglect, and trauma.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a therapeutic framework that draws upon theory and evidence around attachment and trauma-informed principles. You will be supported to draw upon this knowledge to scaffold the support offered to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with foster carers to provide safe, stable, and supportive homes for children and young people.
  • Draw upon theory and evidence around attachment and trauma-informed principles to scaffold the support offered to children and young people.
  • Collaborate with a team of clinical psychologists to provide a range of evidence-based therapies including Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Theraplay, and PACE.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £34,100 per annum, as well as a range of benefits including opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment.

Location:

The role will be based in Salford, with regular travel to support foster carers in the Northwest.
