Solar PV Project Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Project Director to lead our renewable energy team in the UK. As a key member of our global energy team, you will be responsible for managing solar PV projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project milestones are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, client stakeholders, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial) or a cognate discipline; relevant master's degree is not mandatory but preferable.
  • Experience of Project Management.
  • Familiarity with PVsyst or other modelling software.
  • Familiar with international and local standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in English both written and verbal.

Salary:

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
