Lead Project Engineer

Premea is seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Engineer to join our team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative motorcycle accessories.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop new and updated GMA accessory projects, considering function, cost, manufacture, assembly, and quality.
- Produce high-quality 3D CAD models using CREO software and 2D engineering drawings in compliance with ASME standards.
- Liaise with internal departments, including Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Assembly, as well as external departments, such as Product Development, CAE, and Test Teams.
- Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements and have a good understanding of motorcycle chassis layout and construction.
- Bachelor's degree with proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably Pro-engineer/CREO.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering design of components and subassemblies.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as castings, forgings, sheet metal, and injection moldings.
