**Job Summary**

MWH Treatment is seeking a highly skilled Programme Management Specialist to join their team in the Severn Trent region. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment and contribute to the company's Programme Management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning services function across the business unit programme of work, ensuring that programme plans and project plans have achievable but challenging timescales.
  • Provide planning coordination and leadership for the region, working closely with the Programme Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the multi-disciplined roles involved within an integrated programme, including design, construction, commissioning, and interface with 3rd party others and framework partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with planning systems, including Primavera and Microsoft Project, and apply this knowledge to optimize programme delivery.
  • Provide programme management oversight across individual and batched projects, identifying and evaluating potential efficiency gains within the programme of work.
  • Monitor performance against plans, track critical path delivery, and lead metrics to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement resource planning and levelling strategies to ensure the best fit for projects within the overall portfolio or batch.
  • Collaborate with MWHT digital teams to develop 4D plans and rehearsals for more effective delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of Key Performance Indicators and benchmarking initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programme management, with a strong understanding of planning systems and processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
