About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Engagement Terms Team (ETT) as a Strategic Risk Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global team of experts in risk management and to contribute to the development of our firm's risk management strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of escalation for the ETT paralegals and in-house lawyers, providing strategic guidance and support on complex issues.
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and management of risks associated with engagement terms, leveraging advanced systems and data analysis to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a robust programme of measures to help manage engagement terms and other client-related risks, working closely with the Head of the ETT and other senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Head of the ETT to raise risk awareness and design training programmes that highlight the importance of systems in managing engagement terms and mitigating risk.
  • Provide advice to the global firm on the creation and refinement of systematised communication protocols with relationship partners and clients.
  • Promote efficient and competent service delivery, championing the use of systems to foster an environment of continuous improvement within the ETT.
Requirements
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead and lead complex projects.
  • Excellent track record of systemising processes and working in a team environment.
  • Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to influence strategic thinking and direction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels and build strong relationships.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
