Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the development and management of our Parent and Child fostering provision. This is a unique opportunity for a leader with a passion for fostering, who can inspire teams and ensure the highest level of care and support to our placements.

The successful candidate will have experience in upper-level management and extensive fostering support experience, including the supervision and management of a team. They will have the opportunity to build and cultivate a dedicated specialist team with a commitment to providing an outstanding service.

Our senior management team are experienced fostering practitioners who have worked at all levels of fostering, including private, charity, and local authority agencies.

We offer a small agency with a specialist focus on Parent and Child fostering, hybrid working arrangements, and a benefits package that includes a bonus incentive scheme.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the agency, ensuring the effective delivery of services in line with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Management: Run the day-to-day operations of the agency, including the management, recruitment, training, and supervision of staff members.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality assurance systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Recruitment: To have lead responsibility for the recruitment, assessment, preparation, training, and retention of prospective foster carers.
  • Case Management: Oversee the assessment, placement, and review process for parent and child fostering placements, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and support to families.
