Community Payback Placement Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Payback Placement Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting offenders on their journey towards rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders, including local authorities and charities, to ensure the availability of Community Payback work placements. This will involve exploring opportunities for individuals to access on-the-job training and education, thereby enhancing their employability and reducing the likelihood of reoffending.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to secure Community Payback work placements
- Support the development of on-the-job training and education programs to enhance employability and reduce reoffending
- Conduct on-site placement assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
- Plan rotas to allocate Community Payback supervisors and individuals to projects, ensuring necessary equipment is available
- Work weekends as required to cover for Community Payback supervisors or visit project sites
We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals, and a willingness to be a positive role model. You will have the confidence to supervise small groups and maintain discipline, as well as enjoy passing on skills and knowledge in areas such as building, decorating, or gardening.
As a Community Payback Placement Coordinator, you will be working with a diverse mix of individuals, so it is essential that you are empathetic, a good communicator, and comfortable taking the lead. You will be someone who genuinely wants to help people and make a positive impact on their lives.
