Community Payback Placement Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Community Payback Placement Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting offenders on their journey towards rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders, including local authorities and charities, to ensure the availability of Community Payback work placements. This will involve exploring opportunities for individuals to access on-the-job training and education, thereby enhancing their employability and reducing the likelihood of reoffending.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to secure Community Payback work placements
- Support the development of on-the-job training and education programs to enhance employability and reduce reoffending
- Conduct on-site placement assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
- Plan rotas to allocate Community Payback supervisors and individuals to projects, ensuring adequate equipment and resources
- Work weekends as required to cover for supervisors or visit project sites
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on offenders' lives and their communities. As a Community Payback Placement Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising small groups, maintaining discipline, and passing on skills and knowledge. You will work with a diverse range of individuals, so it is essential that you are empathetic, a good communicator, and able to take the lead.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems and adapting to new situations. A full driving license is essential for this role, and you will be required to work weekends as needed.
