Community Payback Placement Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Community Payback Placement Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting offenders on their journey towards rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders, including local authorities and charities, to ensure the availability of Community Payback work placements. This will involve exploring opportunities for individuals to access on-the-job training and education, thereby enhancing their employability and reducing the likelihood of reoffending.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct on-site placement assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Support the Community Payback operations manager in planning rotas to allocate Community Payback supervisors and individuals sentenced to Community Payback to projects.
- Visit Community Payback project sites, including schools, to complete project risk assessments and meet beneficiaries.
- Work weekends as required to cover for Community Payback supervisors or to visit project sites.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of individuals. You will also need to be confident in your ability to supervise small groups and maintain discipline, while being empathetic and understanding of the challenges faced by offenders.
