Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our children's home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our young people.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead a team of care workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent care and services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring they are effective and meet the needs of our young people.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, such as Ofsted and local authorities, to ensure the home meets regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing a children's home or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the home and our young people.
