Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care to patients with breast cancer, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their cancer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist information and support to patients and their families
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial and physical assessments to identify patient needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote patient well-being
  • Act as a keyworker and advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met throughout their cancer journey
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to expedite patient pathways and improve outcomes
  • Participate in audit and research to inform best practice
  • Contribute to the education and development of students and other staff
