Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in a rotational Band 6 position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their clinical and personal skills through rotations in various specialties, including Acute and General Medicine, Surgery, Care of the Elderly, Paediatrics & Maternity, Technical Services, and Medicines Information.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a Clinical Pharmacy service to a defined specialty on a rotational basis.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills through rotations and further training.
  • Contribute to the development of pharmacy services and participate in projects, audits, and education.
  • Supervise and train Brighton Undergraduates and vocational students.
Requirements
  • Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhc).
  • Graduate with significant hospital experience.
  • Evidence of commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Certificate in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent.
Desirable Skills
  • Dispensing experience, including patient counselling.
  • Good knowledge of pharmacy practice.
  • Experience in ward/clinical pharmacy, medicines information, and aseptic production.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position with a salary of £42,939 to £50,697 per annum (pro rata) including HCAS (Outer).
