About the Role:

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our organization. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills to maintain stock levels and manage the facility.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in inventory management, with 3-5 years of experience in the industrial sector. A high school diploma and/or combination of education and experience in welding/industrial products and gases is required. Possession of a Dangerous Goods certificate, WHMIS certificate, and forklift license would be an asset.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments, checking for damage or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Participate in quality and safety initiatives, including anomaly hunts and inspections, and report any safety concerns to a member of the safety committee.
