About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Secretary to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring the smooth running of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to medical staff, including preparing patient records and correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings and appointments.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Good standard of general education (to GCSE/A Level).
  • Previous secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
