Lead the Way in Social Care

As the Registered Manager of Vinney Green Secure Children's Home, you will be the driving force behind our mission to create a safe and nurturing environment for young people who need our guidance and support.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care, education, and vocational training to young people in our care.
  • Develop strategic planning to ensure resources and staff are used efficiently, with solid financial monitoring in place.
  • Build and nurture relationships with external agencies and stakeholders, including Ofsted, to drive collaborative efforts that ensure the best outcomes for young people.
  • Manage the home's daily operations, including finance, to maintain efficiency and sustainability.
  • Ensure the home is a place where every young person feels truly supported and valued, with a focus on equality and diversity.
What We're Looking For
  • A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, with a thorough understanding of secure units, legislation, inspection, safeguarding, and child protection.
  • Experience as a senior manager in social care, with a track record of developing partnerships and delivering policy direction.
  • Expertise in budget management and financial planning, with a focus on maintaining the home's efficiency and sustainability.
  • A commitment to creating an environment of equality and diversity, with a focus on fair opportunities for all.
