The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Innovation Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of the travel industry. As an Innovation Project Manager at TourAxis, you will have the chance to lead projects that explore new technologies, business models, and traveler experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to bring innovative concepts to life.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our projects not only meet but exceed traveler expectations, setting new standards in the industry. You will be responsible for managing projects from ideation to execution and delivery, championing initiatives, collaborating across teams, implementing innovation frameworks, monitoring project progress, managing risks, fostering innovation culture, and evaluating success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Innovation Projects: Manage projects from ideation to execution and delivery
  • Champion Initiatives: Advocate for projects and secure necessary support and resources
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success
  • Implement Innovation Frameworks: Use methodologies like Design Thinking and Agile to guide project processes
  • Monitor Project Progress: Track performance, metrics, and report to stakeholders
  • Manage Risks: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with standards
  • Foster Innovation Culture: Promote creativity and continuous improvement within the team
  • Evaluate Success: Assess project outcomes and apply lessons learned to future projects
Skills and Experience Required
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing projects from conception to completion. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Innovation and Creativity: Strong ability to think creatively and generate innovative solutions. Experience with innovation frameworks like Design Thinking and Lean Startup.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term goals and outcomes
  • Leadership and Team Building: Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams. Skills in recruiting, hiring, and developing talent
  • Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying and mitigating project risks
